Keri Connell, Licensed Nutritionist, Clinical Herbalist, and Cooking Instructor
Keri Connell, MS, CNS, LDN, IFNCP, is a clinical nutritionist and herbalist with a master’s degree in Clinical Herbal Medicine from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in Maryland, and a certified practitioner of Integrative and Functional Nutrition since 2018.
For over 14 years, Keri has been part of the care team at Integrative Medicine at Crossroads, where she counsels patients on healthy eating patterns, stress reduction, sleep, and nutritional and herbal supplementation. In 2015, she helped open the Crossroads Teaching Kitchen, where she continues to lead cooking classes for patients and the community, making healthy eating practical, flavorful, and fun.
Keri’s deep passion for food and nutrition comes alive in the kitchen, where she enjoys fermenting, preserving, and cooking globally inspired meals that highlight anti-inflammatory herbs and colorful plant foods. She finds great joy in hearing how her students are now preparing vibrant, nourishing meals at home instead of relying on processed or take out options.
When she’s not seeing patients or leading classes, you can often find Keri at a farmers’ market, foraging for mushrooms, preserving seasonal produce, or traveling (and eating!) with her husband, Kevin, a Baltimore-based personal chef. Together, they love exploring bold, spice-forward cuisines like Indian, Thai, Latin, and Middle Eastern.
