What we eat and how we live may play an important role in maintaining cognitive function as we age. In this group visit, we’ll look at what current research suggests about nutrition and lifestyle strategies that support long-term brain health.
Unlike our traditional Teaching Kitchen classes, this session will not focus on recipes or cooking demonstrations. Instead, we’ll discuss practical ways to apply brain-healthy eating patterns, including principles of the MIND diet, key nutrients and foods associated with cognitive health, and the potential role of supplements.
We’ll also look beyond nutrition to other important factors that influence brain health, including exercise, sleep, brain training, social connection, and other lifestyle habits.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the strategies that have the strongest evidence behind them and practical ideas you can begin incorporating into your everyday routine.
