In this cooking based “Living Well with Diabetes” session, we will explore and taste noodle and pasta substitutes including cabbage, hearts of palm, zucchini & shiratake.
Monthly "Living Well with Diabetes" classes are held in the Crossroads Teaching Kitchen for patients who have either been diagnosed with Diabetes, or for those who care for friends or family members with Diabetes. These session can be run through your health insurance.
Each session led by nutritionist Keri Connell and certified diabetes educator Roye Evans, will focus on a practical topic related to managing blood sugar, building sustainable habits, and improving long term health.
